If a quote is just a price and a model name, ask what’s behind it.

The cheapest quote isn’t automatically the worst, and the most expensive isn’t automatically the best. Comparing the underlying heat-loss assumptions, radiator schedule and flow temperature side by side usually explains the price gap far better than comparing headline figures alone.

MCS certification is a baseline requirement for most grant schemes, not a guarantee of design quality on its own. Ask to see a sample heat-loss report and radiator schedule from previous work — how an installer approaches design tells you more than reviews alone.
