A city of terraces — and every terrace is different
Leeds probably has more heat pump myths per square mile than anywhere in Yorkshire, because Leeds has terraces — tens of thousands of them, from the tight back-to-backs of Harehills and Beeston to the tall through-terraces of Headingley, Chapel Allerton and Kirkstall. “Terrace” gets treated as a single category by lazy surveys. It isn’t. The building form does enormous work in the calculation — if anyone calculates it.
