Quick answer
Samsung has live GB product pages for the EHS Quint, with three outdoor model references and a reasonable amount of technical data on them. That is real, and it is more than most pre-launch products give you.
What we have not found is a confirmed UK on-sale date, a distributor or merchant offering stock, an installed price, an MCS Product Directory listing, published UK installation and service manuals, a stated installer training route, or UK warranty terms.
So the honest position is this. The Quint exists as a documented product. It is not yet something I would treat as purchasable, grant-assessable or safe to design around in the UK. Those are two different things, and the gap between them is what this page tracks.
This page sits under the main Samsung EHS Quint hub and is updated as items move. Every row below carries the date it was last checked, so you can judge how fresh the picture is rather than taking my word for it.

Samsung has public GB product information for the EHS Quint, including model references and technical data. However, Heat Loss Hub is still treating UK availability, approved indoor-unit combinations, MCS status, Boiler Upgrade Scheme treatment, installed cost and installer route as items to check before relying on the product for a quote, grant application or installation decision.
Do not assume the Samsung EHS Quint is MCS certified, BUS eligible, generally available or priced unless current official sources confirm the exact model and configuration.

What is confirmed
Everything in this section comes from Samsung’s own published GB material. I am attributing it deliberately, because published specification and independently verified UK performance are not the same thing.
Samsung publishes three outdoor model references. AE125HCTPESEU at 12.5 kW single phase, AE160HCTPESEU at 16.0 kW single phase, and AE125HCTPGSEU at 12.5 kW three phase. If you are ever shown a quote for a Quint, the model reference is the first thing to check — capacity and supply type both change what the installation needs.
Samsung publishes R32 as the refrigerant, GWP 675, with a factory charge of 2.70 kg on the 12.5 kW unit and an electronic expansion valve included. Entirely conventional for this class of product.
Samsung publishes leaving water temperatures of 15–65 °C in heating and 5–25 °C in cooling. The 65 °C figure will get quoted at you. A high available flow temperature is a capability, not a design target — what your system runs at is decided by your heat loss and your emitters.
Samsung publishes an ambient operating envelope across the modes: −25 to 43 °C for air-to-water heating, 10 to 46 °C for air-to-water cooling, −25 to 43 °C for domestic hot water, −25 to 24 °C for air-to-air heating and 10 to 46 °C for air-to-air cooling. The low-temperature end is generous by UK standards, though operating envelope and capacity at that temperature are separate questions.
Samsung publishes physical dimensions. The outdoor unit is 1270 × 850 × 500 mm and weighs 126.5 kg. Worth knowing early if siting is tight.
That is a decent amount of published data. Enough to sketch a design around. Not enough to commit to one.

What is not confirmed
Here is the distinction that matters, and it is the reason this page exists.
A live product page is not the same as UK availability. Manufacturers publish product pages ahead of, alongside and sometimes well ahead of actual market availability. The page tells you the product is real and the specification is settled enough to publish. It tells you nothing about whether you can get one next month.
In practice, a product is "available" in the UK when a chain of things is in place:
- Stock through distribution. A merchant or distributor your installer can actually order from, with a lead time.
- Published UK documentation. Installation and service manuals, for the UK market. Without these an installer is working blind and commissioning becomes guesswork.
- Installer training. A defined route, so the person at your cylinder has been trained on this specific product rather than on the family it resembles.
- Technical support. Someone to ring when the system behaves oddly at 6am in January.
- Spares. Parts availability, on a sensible timescale. A two-week wait for a control board is a different proposition to next-day parts.
- Settled certification and grant treatment. An MCS listing, and a clear answer on which Boiler Upgrade Scheme category applies to a unit doing both air-to-water and air-to-air work.
Not one of those six is confirmed at the time of writing. That is not a criticism of the product — it is the normal position for something at this stage. It is also precisely why I would not let anyone build a quote around it yet.
The alternative is available today: a conventional air-to-water heat pump plus a separate air-conditioning system, from multiple manufacturers, with settled grant treatment and a wide installer base. Frequently Asked Questions
When will the Samsung EHS Quint be released in the UK?
We have not found a confirmed public UK on-sale date, and we will not publish a predicted one. If a date appears from Samsung or from UK distribution, it goes in the update log above with the date it was checked.
Can I buy one now?
Not as far as we can establish — no confirmed UK distributor or merchant availability has been identified. If someone says they can supply one, ask for the model reference, the distributor and the lead time in writing before any money moves.
Can I pre-order?
No pre-order route has been confirmed. I would be cautious about any deposit taken against a product with no published price, no confirmed MCS status and no settled grant treatment.
Why is there a product page if it is not available?
Because product pages go up when the specification is settled enough to publish, which is usually earlier than the point at which stock, documentation, training and support are all in place. Normal enough. It just means the page cannot be read as a green light.
Is the Quint MCS certified or BUS eligible?

How much will it cost?
No UK installed price has been published, so there is nothing honest to tell you. The outdoor unit price on its own would not answer the question anyway — cylinder, indoor units, emitters, pipework, electrics, controls, design and commissioning are where the number is really made.
How will I know when it changes?
This page is the tracker. The table carries a "last checked" date on every row and the update log records each change as it happens. Nothing gets moved from "not confirmed" to "confirmed" without a source.
Should I plan my project around it?
Plan the project. Do not plan around the product. Your heat loss, your emitter sizes, your hot-water demand and your cooling requirement do not change based on which outdoor unit you eventually fit, and getting that work done now costs you nothing in optionality.
